Golf Opens 2008 NCAA West Regional With 6-Over Par Round

Bremerton, WA - The Saint Mary's men's golf team got off to a good start in the 2008 NCAA West Regional following a 6-over par round of 294. At the par-72, 7,111-yard Gold Mountain Golf Club, SMC used even par rounds of 72 by Mike McRae and Chadd Cocco to get off to a good start in the school's second ever NCAA Tournament appearance. » more
SMC Athletics Closes Year with 8th Annual Gael Awards Show

Moraga, CA - The eighth Annual Gael Award Show was a great night for Saint Mary's Athletics, as seniors and top performers from this past athletic year were honored. The event was held in the LeFevre Theatre on campus on Wednesday, May 14. The Athletic Department, which hosted the event, also named the Coach of the Year, Performances of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, to name a few awards. Each program also put together a video to honor its graduating senior student-athletes. » more

This Week In Gaels Baseball: Saint Mary's will head back out on the road, going north to play the University of Portland for a three game series. Friday's game will begin at 3:00 PM, with 1:00 PM games Saturday and Sunday from Joe Etzel Field. Sunday's game will be the 2008 season finale. » more
