Notes from SMC's 78-72 win over San Francisco on Saturday.

  • Saturday's win was Saint Mary's 15th straight over San Francisco. The Dons last beat the Gaels in 2006.
  • Senior guard Matthew Dellavedova moved into a tie for seventh in all-time free throws attempted with Frederic Adjiwanou. Dellavedova took seven free throws Saturday to finish with 467.
  • Dellavedova also moved into seventh in field goals made with 511. He passed Steven Gray, who had 508.
  • Finally, Dellavedova moved into a tie for ninth in all-time games played. Saturday was his 118th contest as a Gael, tying him with Brett Collins.
  • With 15 points, Beau Levesque scored in double digits for the ninth time in the last 10 games.
  • By outrebounding San Francisco 31-23, the Gaels won the battle on the boards for the 12th game in a row.
  • By going 24 for 27 from the free throw line, Saint Mary's enjoyed its second best percentage (88.9) of the season.
  • For the fifth time in the last six games, Saint Mary's had four players finish in double figures. Dellavedova (19), Stephen Holt (16), Levesque (15) and Mitchell Young (14) all finished in double digits.
