TUCSON, Ariz. -- While the Saint Mary's men's tennis team managed a doubles victory on Saturday at Arizona, the Gaels still couldn't get on the board as they dropped a 4-0 decision to the Wildcats.

As a whole, Saint Mary's (2-3) performed at a bit higher level than it did in a 7-0 loss on Friday.

And, the Gaels did pick up a victory when Samuel Bloore and Tuomas Manner defeated Sumeet Shinde and Kieren Thompson 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.

But Arizona picked up the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 3, and then finished the match off with wins at No. 3, 5 and 6 singles.

Jesse Kiuru led 6-3, 4-1 for Saint Mary's at No. 1 singles before play was halted due to the Wildcats clinching the win.

Next up for the Gaels is a trip to the Olympic Club to take on San Francisco on Wednesday at noon. They'll return home on Feb. 10 to host Pacific at noon.
