MORAGA, Calif. -- The Saint Mary's women's tennis team manged one win in doubles but that was all it would get as No. 2 UCLA earned a 4-0 win over the No. 30 Gaels at Korth Tennis Complex.

UCLA (8-1) clinched the doubles point early with wins at No. 3 and No. 1.

That didn't stop Saint Mary's (5-4) from fighting though, as Catherine Isip and Elizabeth Searl claimed the Gaels' lone win of the day with an 8-4 victory over No. 38-ranked Pamela Montez and Courtney Dolehide.

The Bruins continued their roll in singles. With nationally ranked players from 1 through 5 in the lineup, UCLA led in every match when things wrapped up. Wins at No. 5 and 6 put the Bruins on the precipice and a win at No. 1 clinched the victory.

Saint Mary's returns to action next Saturday as it travels to Tempe, Ariz. to take on Arizona State at noon. The next day, the Gaels will face Memphis at noon as they wrap up their trip to the desert.
