Junior (2008): Garnered WCC All-Conference and All-Academic honors, as the middle blocker averaged 1.89 kills and 1.06 blocks per set...tabbed double-digit kills in five matches, while hitting above .300 in 15 matches...best match of the season came against No. 15 Pepperdine on October 2, recording a new career-high, 16 kills on 24 swings for a .667 hitting mark...posted 15 kills in the Gaels’ next match against Loyola Marymount, hitting .423 while adding eight blocks...recorded eight big blocks in the Gaels’ win over No. 13 San Diego on November 13, while also adding six kills on 11 attempts...contributed 13 kills against San Francsico on October 16 and Loyola Marymount on October 30...hit a stifling .625 against San Jose State, chipping in 10 kills on 16 swings with no errors...ranked sixth in the WCC in attack percentage, with a .352 mark, and fifth in blocks per set, with 1.06...finished the season with 167 kills, 94 blocks, 14 digs, and seven assists.

Sophomore (2007): Was second on the team in blocks per game (1.35) and first on the team in hitting efficiency (.291)...posted six stuff blocks against LMU on October 18 to help hold the Lions to a team .159 hitting percentage...recorded a team-high 11 kills versus San Francisco on October 4...posted a season-high nine blocks and six kills versus Gonzaga on September 27...tallied 10 kills and eight blocks against CSU Bakersfield on September 22...attacked for an impressive season-high .636 hitting percentage against UC Davis, with eight kills on eleven swings...posted 13 kills and seven block assists versus UC Santa Barbara on September 13...compiled seven block assists versus No. 17 Cal Poly on September 8...tied her career-high with 13 kills on 20 swings for a .550 hitting efficiency versus Fresno State on September 2...tallied a career-high13 kills and six block assists versus CSU Bakersfield on September 1...posted a game high seven blocks against Arizona in the Wildcat Classic...totaled eight block assists against Utah State on August 24...missed the last six matches due to injury.

Freshman (2006): Played in 25 matches and started in 19 during her freshman campaign...named to the WCC All-Freshman team...ranked 10th in the conference in blocks per game at 1.02...recorded five solo and six assisted blocks against Loyola Marymount on October 12th...tallied a career high 11 kills versus Gonzaga on October 21st and Portland on November 18th...fourth on the team in blocks with 17 solos and 76 block assists...finished the season with 15 aces, 115 kills, and 93 blocks.

Iolani High School: Comes to Saint Mary’s from Iolani School in Honolulu, HI...lettered three years in volleyball and basketball three and two years in track and field...she was a First Team All-League selection and the Most Valuable Player and team captain...her team was the 2005 State Volleyball Championship runner-up...qualified for the 2005 and 2006 state championships  in track and field for the shot put and discus...Aloha Region under-18 champion in 2004, 2005 and 2006 on the Maunalani and Imi Ike Volleyball Clubs. 

Personal:  Megan Burton was born on October 20, 1988...daughter of Tom and Lia and younger sister to Tommy...Cousin Samson Satele is starting center for the Oakland Raiders...Plays with fellow islanders, Kapua Kamana'o-classmate from highschool, and Chanteal Satele-cousin...Recruited by Utah, Utah State, Eastern Washington, Brown University, Princeton, Middle Tennessee State, and University of Tennessee...chose Saint Mary's because of the " 'ohana" (family) type environment on campus and in the athletic department, and also admiring the challenging Academics...She is a Business Administration, International Concentration major with a minor in Economics...Enjoys spending time with her family at beach bar-b-ques, watching 80's movie flicks, and reading fictional novels...Her ipod includes her favorites from Reggae, RnB, Musicals.
