Summer Prior to senior season (2012):  Advanced to the match play final at the California Amateur Championships ... qualified for the State Am match play with a 3-under par in stroke play ... defeated top players from Cal, Notre Dame, UC Davis and Northwestern to earn a spot in the championship match against 2005 USGA Mid-Amateur Champion Kevin Marsh ... dropped 4&3 decision in 36-hole final ... went to extra holes in three of five matches prior to the final, including a 23-hole quarterfinal and 19-hole semi ... finished in a tie for 1st place with a 9-under par at the Sahalee Players Championship in Sammamish, Wash. ... shot a 6-under par 66 on the final round that consisted of six birdies and no bogeys, but lost in a 3-way playoff ... advanced to the U.S. Open sectional qualifying round for the second-straight year with a 4th place finish at a local qualifying tournament at Ruby Hill Golf Club ... qualified for the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship with a 2-under at San Juan Oaks GC qualifier.

As a junior (2011-12):  Became the school's fourth-ever individual West Coast Conference champion after firing a 9-under 207 at San Juan Oaks GC in Hollister, Calif. ... a first-team all-WCC selection and Academic all-WCC honoree ... made a birdie putt from off the green on the 18th hole for a final round 6-under par 66 to clinch the individual title at the WCC championships, his first collegiate win ... shot rounds of 69-72-66 at the WCC's ... named SMC Student-Athlete of the Week after winning the league title ... registered 10 top-20 finishes in 11 events during the regular-season ... shot 15 of his 33 rounds during the season at par or better ... fired a 72.5 stroke average during the season, more than a full stroke lower than his career average ... shot 74-69-67 for a 6-under 210 and finished third at the Firestone Invitational ... shot a 5-under par, bogey-free final round ... finished a team-high eighth at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic at The Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. ... fired a 72-75-69 for a 6-over par 216 ... qualified for the sectional round of U.S. Open qualifying for the second-straight year, firing a 1-under par 71 and finishing fourth.

Summer prior to junior season:  Won a two-hole playoff to qualify for the U.S. Amateur Championship at Erin Hills and Blue Mound Golf & Country Club in Erin, Wisc. ... shot a 6-under par 66 in the second round at the U.S. Amateur, a course record at Erin Hills for a competitive round ... finished stroke play with a 7-under par ... advanced to the round of 16, where he lost to Jordan Spieth, the world's top-ranked junior player ... finished second in a local U.S. Open qualifying round and played in the sectional qualifier at Oakmont CC ... advanced to the second round of the California State Amateur after finishing in a tie for 10th in stroke play ... finished in a tie for 10th in stroke play at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championships and advanced to match play at Bandon Trails

As a sophomore (2010-11):  Participated in all 11 events during the season and was the team's top finisher at the WCC Championships ... honorable mention all-WCC selection ... tied for 10th after shooting 71-76-72 for a three-over par 219 at San Juan Oaks Golf Club in Hollister, Calif. ... posted three top-20 finishes during the season ... led the Gaels at the Cabo Intercollegiate with a tie for 32nd ... third on the team in stroke average with a 74.6 during the season ... shot nine rounds of par or better ... low round of the season was a 67 in the first round of the Desert Shootout at Palm Valley GC in Goodyear, Ariz.

As a freshman (2009-10): As a walkon, he competed in three tournament for a total of nine rounds played...finished the season with a competition stroke average of 76.9...made his debut in the first tournament of the year, playing as an individual at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic...posted rounds of 79-80-80 to finished 75th overall with a score of 239 (+29) at the FIG Classic...finished tied for 11th overall at the Saint Mary's Invitational with a 54-hole score of 220 (+4) when he played as an individual...shot rounds of 73-74-73 at Poppy Hills GC for season bests in finish (11th), low tournament score (220), and low 18-hole round (73)...posted an 84th place finish at the Fresno State Lexus Golf Classic.

Before Saint Mary's: Was a four-years letter winner in golf and lettered two years in basketball at Pierce High School...was a four time all-Sacramento Valley League selection and a three time Sacramento Valley League MVP...was the medalist for the SVL three Junior Golf Association of Northern California (JGANC) in 2009, he was the medalist at the Sacramento City Easter Championship, that was played at the Bing Maloney Golf Course...also won the Bumgardner Memorial at Del Rio Country Club in Modesto, CA in 2009...won the Division II Northern Section high school tournament as a freshman (2006) and as a junior (2008) the summer 2008 was a member of the Hogan Cup Team for Northern California...the Hogan Team for Northern California is made up of the top four earners for the Northern California in the JGANC for the year...had a runner-up finish in the 2008 NCGA Valley Amateur at Winchester Country Club in Auburn, CA...was an All-SVL selection in basketball both his junior and senior season as a shooting guard.

Personal: Parents are Carol and Andy the middle child of three, has an older brother, Jacob, and a younger sister, Molly ... father, Andy, was a Division III All-American in golf as California State University, Stanislaus and helped CSUS to Division III National Championships in 1980 and 1981 ... majoring in business administration.
