San Bruno, CA - Following the completion of the 2010 baseball season, four players from the Saint Mary's squad received All-West Coast Conference recognition. Sophomore first baseman Troy Channing was a First Team All-WCC Selection, sophomore pitcher Kyle Barraclough and junior outfielder Justin Fazio were honorable mention selections, and freshman third baseman Patrick Wisdom was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team.

Following a freshman season where he led the WCC in batting average, home runs and RBIs, Troy Channing posted a .310 batting average (second on the team), and led the squad with 15 home runs and 54 RBI this season. With his conference most 43 walks, Channing finished the year with a .465 on base percentage, which was third in the WCC.

In his two seasons at Saint Mary's, Channing has played and started all 107 games the Gaels have played.  When he hit is 15th home run this season, in the series finale against Seattle University on May 23, he passed James Mouton as the school's career home run leader.  He set the SMC single season record in 2009 with 20 home runs, and with 15 as a sophomore, he passed Mouton's four-year total of 34 from 1988-91.

Justin Fazio had a strong finish to his junior season, as the outfielder led the Gaels with a .333 batting average in 2010, earning him an honorable mention nod. Fazio played in 48 games, 37 as a starter, was third on the team with 51 hits, tied the team-high with 11 doubles, and hit a career best five home runs in 153 at-bats.

Patrick Wisdom had a solid freshman season as a corner infielder for the Gaels. He was in the clean-up spot for most of the season, and posted a .290 batting average with 12 home runs and 39 RBI (both second on the team) in 2010.

Kyle Barraclough was the Saturday starter for the Gaels all season, and finished the year with a 6-6 record in 18 appearances with 15 starts as a sophomore. Barraclough led the Gaels with 81 strikeouts in 89.2 innings pitched (second on the team), to average 8.1 strikeouts per nine innings pitched. He finished the year with a 5.42 earned run average overall. During conference play, Barraclough led the Gaels with a 3.52 ERA and a 4-2 record in seven starts. He had 50 strikeouts in 46.0 innings pitched and held opponents to a .243 batting average.
