SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has announced the 2012 All-WCC Women's Tennis Team, with the Saint Mary's women's tennis team well represented. Jenny Jullien and Catherine Isip were both named to the All-WCC First Team, while senior Anna Chkhikvishvili was named to the Second Team. The Gaels also had two doubles pairs named to the All-WCC Second Team.

After being named to the Honorable Mention Team last season as a freshman, Jenny Jullien continued her success on the court this season and went 16-4 overall and 7-1 in WCC action. Jullien went 3-2 at the No. 1 spot and 13-2 on court two, while the sophomore was also named to the WCC All-Academic Team last week.

This is the third straight season that junior Catherine Isip has been named to the All-WCC First Team. Isip went 11-10 this season playing primarily at the difficult No. 1 spot for the Gaels. She went 7-1 in conference play and earned her biggest win of the season on April 15 when she defeated WCC Player of the Year and No. 41-ranked Katie Le of Santa Clara.

Senior Anna Chkhikvishvili had another tremendous season and was named to the All-WCC Second Team after being named to the First Team as a freshman and a sophomore. Chkhikvishvili went 15-5 this season including a perfect 8-0 during WCC regular season play.

The doubles duos of Jade Frampton/Jullien and Chkhikvishvili/Isip were named to the All-WCC Second Team. The sophomore duo Frampton and Jullien went 7-7 this year playing primarily on court one, while the pair finished the season winning seven of their last 10. Isip and Chkhikvishvili teamed up half way through the season and went 8-2 at the No. 2 spot this season.

The Gaels will return to action on Friday, May 11 when they make their third consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament with a matchup against No. 28 Yale.
