FRESNO, Calif. -- The Saint Mary's women's tennis team will look to continue building on a positive fall campaign as it heads to the Central Valley this weekend for the Bulldog Classic hosted by Fresno State.

The Gaels have several entries in the Flight A singles draw, headlined by the tournament's No. 1 seed, Catherine Isip. The lone senior in the Gaels lineup won her first match at the ITA Northwest Regional two weeks ago before bowing out in the next round.

Isip will be joined in Flight A singles action in Fresno by Catherine Leduc, Danielle Flores, Hannah Liljkevist, Elizabeth Searl, Jade Frampton and Audrey Leitz. Flores and Isip have each been given a first-round bye. Melissa Arthur will also compete for Saint Mary's as the Gaels' lone entry in the Flight B singles draw.

The Gaels will again be active in doubles as well, with Isip and Liljekvist being awarded the No. 2 seed. Flores and Frampton will try to continue their strong play after reaching the semifinals at the ITA Regional. Leduc and Searl will team up in Fresno, as will Leitz and Arthur.

Play begins Friday morning and continues throughout the weekend.
