SKILLMAN, N.J. -- Wins over then No. 53-ranked Santa Clara and UC Irvine last weekend have pushed the Saint Mary's men's tennis team back into the ITA national rankings at No. 73.
The Gaels (6-5) have won four of their last five matches entering play this week. The 5-2 win over the Broncos came in Saint Mary's West Coast Conference opener.
Jesse Kiuru has been particularly strong at the top of Saint Mary's lineup, and enters this week's play having won five of his last six matches at No. 1 singles. He and partner Joakim Norstrom have also been strong at No. 1 doubles, and have won four of their last five.
Saint Mary's gets back on the court tomorrow at 11 a.m. when it faces San Francisco at Olympic Club.
