MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s sand volleyball team went up against No. 3 USC and challenged the Trojans in every match, but dropped a 5-0 decision on Wednesday afternoon at Moraga Commons.
"I'm very proud of our players today,” said head coach Brent Crouch. “Weather conditions were tough, and our opponent more experienced... But, each of our teams played well and threatened to win each match. I think we walk away from today's competition knowing more clearly the areas we need to improve, and renewed confidence in our abilities to do so, and do so quickly."

Saint Mary’s is back in action on Sunday, April 7th when it takes on Stanford and Sacramento State in Sacramento.
