The two Gaels were part of a 12-player team selected by the WCC. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 grade point average, and make significant contributions to the team on the court.
Only a sophomore, Bloore maintains a 3.81 GPA with a major in Economics. Norstrom, a junior and team captain, carries a 3.56 GPA and majors in Business Administration.
Both Bloore and Norstrom will be back in action on Wednesday when the Gaels take on Portland in the first round of the WCC Championships in San Diego. That match is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. and live results will be available on WCCSports.com.
