MORAGA, Calif. — The record setting 2016-17 Saint Mary’s men’s basketball team, coaches and staff will be celebrating the outstanding season at their annual team banquet and invite all friends and supporters of the program to join. The banquet is set for Wednesday, April 19 at Moraga Country Club and doors open at 6 p.m.
Seats are available for $75 per person and each ticket includes a no-host bar, dinner and a program hosted by NBC Sports Bay Area personality Matt Maiocco. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Gaels are coming off one of their best seasons in school history, matching a record 29 wins and reaching the round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
Saint Mary’s continued its impressive season all year by being ranked in the top 25 every week of the season. The Gaels also tied a school record with a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
This year’s banquet will send off two seniors, including the West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year Joe Rahon and four-year letterwinner Dane Pineau. The Gaels will also honor a list of team members and hand out awards.
