GOLF | Rappleye Earns Third Straight WCC All-Academic Honor

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Senior Hunter Rappleye continues to excel inside the classroom, being named to the West Coast Conference’s All-Academic Team for the third straight year, it was announced today.

Currently a Mathematics major, Rappleye boasts an impressive 3.49 cumulative GPA in his final year at Saint Mary’s.

Along with his success in his studies, the senior out of Sacramento has played the fourth most rounds out of any Gael this season. Rappleye has played in 21 rounds over seven tournaments and is shooting an average of 73.38 strokes per round.

The senior’s best finish so far in 2016-17 was tied-18th at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, where he shot 5-under.

Rappleye and the Gaels will make way back to Provo, Utah this week for the WCC Championship from April 20-22 at Riverside Country Club.
