MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's basketball announced today the second Gaels All-Star Classic is set to return to McKeon Pavilion on June 25, which highlights men's basketball alumni weekend.
Following the excitement and success of the initial Alumni Weekend and Gaels All-Star Classic three years ago, Saint Mary's is bringing back the two games this year to celebrate one of the nation's winningest programs.
Tickets to the 2nd Gaels All-Star Classic can be purchased online HERE.
Sunday, June 25 will feature the Gaels All-Star Classic for current professional players at 4 p.m. PT inside McKeon Pavilion. Complete rosters, player participation information and other details will be released throughout the weeks leading up to the event.
An alumni game, open to all former players, will serve as the undercard beginning at 2 p.m. Following the Gaels All-Star Classic, there will be a post game reception inside the Soda Center.
“After the success from the first All-Star Classic and Alumni Weekend, we wanted to keep building those strong ties with the community and our basketball family," said Saint Mary's head coach Randy Bennett.
"This year is a perfect time to gather everyone together again. Our program continues to grow and it's based on our former players, coaches and the Saint Mary's fan base. What better showcase of our program than through these special alumni and all-star games.”
Fans have the opportunity to connect with several decades of Gaels basketball alumni on Sunday. Tickets to both games are only $10 for adults and $5 for youth 12 and younger. All seats are general admission.
Season ticket holders who renew their seats prior to June 25 will receive two free tickets to the game.
Following his 16th season at Saint Mary's, Bennett is now the longest tenured Division I coach in the state of California and ranks 13th nationally.
Over the past decade, the Gaels are the 5th winningest program in the country, along with Kansas, Gonzaga, Duke and Kentucky. Saint Mary's has made 10 straight postseason appearances and has won at last 20 games in 10 consecutive seasons.
