Strength and Conditioning
The Performance camp is designed to help improve all aspects of athletic performance with a hands-on approach to speed, strength and power development, as well as, recovery. Our experience and qualified staff is dedicated to help you improve each of the fundamental components of athletic performance, giving you a decisive advantage in your sport.
Camp Objectives Open to high school aged, boys and girls of all levels, the performance camp is designed:
- To provide you with an opportinity to train using the same top level colligiate coaches, who have produced NCAA, professional and Olympic level athletes - To teach you how to perform Strength and Plyometric exercises effectively and safely with proper instruction - To help you improve ALL of the fundamental components of athletic performance - Speed, power, agility, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, balance, coordination and nutrition
Session I
June 7 – July 1 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9:30am – 11:30am
$75 Per Week/Session or $ 250 Entire Session (12 days)
(Space is limited: 15)
The training session will be run by current SMC Strength and Conditioning Coaches Gene Mirra and Kelly Clark and held at the SMC Weight Room (Power Plant) and Intramural Field.
Session II
July 12 – August 5 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9:30am – 11:30am
$75 Per Week/Session or $ 250 Entire Session (12 days)

The training session will be run by current SMC Strength and Conditioning Coaches Gene Mirra and Kelly Clark and held at the SMC Weight Room (Power Plant) and Intramural Field.
Registration / Check-in Check-in begins at 9:00 am Monday June 7th at the Power Plant Located on De La Salle Drive, in between Assumption Hall and Saint Joseph Hall. From Saint Mary’s Parkway, make Left onto De La Salle Drive and follow to Power Plant Building on Left. To reach the weight room, take the side road between Power Plant and Saint Joseph Hall – it goes down hill.
CAMP WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9:30am and finishes as 11:30am
All campers must be pick-upped at the Power Plant at 11:30am
