As a Freshman and Sophomore (2007-09 at Creighton): As a sophomore 2008-09, averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds, and played in 34 games...Creighton posted a 27-8 overall record, while finishing first in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 14-4 record...helped the Blue Jays advance to the second round of the 2009 NIT, before falling to Kentucky, when he scored seven points...scored in double figures five times, with a season-high 15 points against Missouri State on Feb. 21...had a season-high 10 rebounds against Mississippi Valley State when he had a double-double with 10 points...as a freshman in 2007-08, averaged 2.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game...played in 30 games, including one start vs. Northern Iowa (Feb. 5)...finished fourth on the team with 15 blocked shots...had 12 points and nine rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench against North Carolina Central (Dec. 20), making 6-of-7 shots from the field...had three blocked shots in just seven minutes of win at Missouri State (Jan. 5).
