Saint Mary's head coach Randy Bennett

"It's hard to win on the road. We played well. The last five or six minutes, we didn't defend as well as we needed to. You're going to miss free throws, you're going to miss shots but you can't give them easy baskets. Credit them. I knew they would (come back). I told our team at halftime, we were up 14 but I've seen them in this situation and they always get back in the game. That's exactly how the San Diego game went when they played them here. They got it down to a one-possession game, which they did here. Fortunately, Jordie hit those two free throws. He played really well."

"We played well. We needed to get in the position we were. I wish we would have played a little smarter defensively the last five minutes. That's it. We were good on the boards. Offensively, I think we took care of the ball pretty well. We defended them well for a long time."

"For me, each game is a separate entity. We've never talked about any streaks. Every time we play them, it's going to be a tough game."

"(Page) has been playing better lately, and then tonight, he got more minutes. He played well and we rolled with him. He's a momentum player. He can get on a roll. He scored early in that game. He had some funny matchups. He had Tollefsen on him, and that's a tough matchup for them. He's been doing it in practice. He played really well Monday in practice, and he's been coming on. I told him yesterday, let's go, let's get on a roll. That's what he did last year at the conference tournament."

Saint Mary's guard Stephen Holt

"We had a decent lead down the stretch with about three minutes to go but we let them have easy buckets and didn't knock down easy shots and had a couple turnovers. But, a road win is a road win and we're happy about that."

"We knew at halftime they were going to come out with a flurry and try to run. They're very aggressive offensively and defensively, so we knew they were going to get after it. At times, I think we matched it in the second half and in the last two minutes, we didn't match it and they came back. Jordie hit those big free throws, so credit to him and our team for playing it out."

"Coach was on me all week just to get back to my habits and rebounding. I'm a really good rebounder as a guard in this league and I'm just trying to help the team out, help our bigs and once I get that rebound just trying to push it."
