High School: Came to Saint Mary’s by way of Foothill High School in Pleasanton, CA...while at Foothill he was a four-year letterman for baseball...he is a three-time all-league honoree...in 2008 he was First Team All-East Bay, First Team All-League, and team MVP following a monster year in which he hit .475 going 29-for-61, knocking in 25 runs and scoring 28 runs...of his 29 hits, 16 were for extra bases clubbing five doubles, four triples and seven long-balls...his seven homeruns is a Foothill HS single season record...that same year he also collected 10 multi-hit games...in the June Major League Baseball Amateur Draft he was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 40th round...his junior season he hit .380 with seven doubles and six homeruns, while being named First Team All-League...was also a member of the 2006 USA Baseball National Championship team in the Junior Olympics...was also recruited by Cal, Arizona State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Pepperdine...chose Saint Mary’s because of the competitive baseball while receiving a quality education...he plans on majoring in Communications and his post graduate plans include a desire to continue his baseball career or pursue a career in advertising.
