Kami Gray was named Senior Associate AD for Finance & Internal Operations/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) in the fall of 2016.
Kami oversees all of the finances for the Department of Athletics’ 17-team intercollegiate athletic program. She submits and reviews all financial reports for the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA), NCAA Financial reports and the NCAA Agreed Upon Procedures. She coordinates all departmental athletic travel, oversees equipment and apparel functions, negotiates departmental guarantees and contracts and is currently assisting with the development of the new Strategic Plan for the Department of Athletics and Recreational Sports. Kami is a member of the Senior Administration Team with the Gaels and she has supervision of several varsity sports programs.
Kami also serves as the Senior Woman Administrator where she is a liaison between the College, the NCAA and the West Coast Conference. In this role she serves as the department’s contact for Title IX/Gender Equity issues.
Prior to being named Senior Associate AD/SWA in 2016, Kami served as Associate Athletic Director for Business and Finance/SWA from 2010-2016 and she was Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Finance from 2006-2010. Prior to this she was the Director of Compliance/Summer Camps from 2004-2006, a substitute teacher in the Mt. Diablo School District from 2004-2005 and the Assistant Director (Graduate Assistant) of summer camps at Saint Mary’s College from 2002-2004.
Through out her tenure at Saint Mary’s, Kami has been a part of many different groups, memberships and committees. Gray was a volunteer for the Saint Mary’s College Sexual Assault Crisis Response Team from 2005-2007 and she is currently a member of the Title IX Committee and the Title IX Department of Athletics Deputy. Kami has been a member of many organizations including the Campus Athletic and Recreational Sports Committee (CARSC: 2010-2015), College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA: 2007-present) and the National Association of Collegiate Women’s Administrators (NACWAA: 2013-present). Kami is currently a part of the West Coast Conference Executive Council and a member of the West Coast Conference Championships and Sports Administration Committee.
Kami completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s College in 2002. She also earned her CLAD Credential (Multiple Subject Professional Clear Credential) from Saint Mary’s College in 2004 and her Master of Education in Instruction from Saint Mary’s College in 2006.
