Cross Country: Consistently packed among top six runners for SMC ... Best race came with team win at Speedway Duals on Sep. 15 where he came in eighth in 23:30.5 ... Came in 63rd in 24:55.3 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 15 ... Finished 131st in 32:28.5 at the NCAA West Regionals on Nov. 11.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)

Track: Competed in the 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m distances for the Gaels in his first year ... Opened his season at the Aggie Open on March 11 finishing in 8:47.85 in the 3,000m ... Ran in the 5,000m of the Hornet Invitational on March 18, finishing in 15:21.42 ... Recorded his season-best time in the 10,000m of 30:39.32 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival on April 1.

Cross Country: In his first race of the season, finished 20th at the San Francisco Invitational 8-kilometer in 25 minutes, 50.8 seconds to lead the Gaels to a third place finish ... Grabbed a 10th place finish in 25:07.1 at the 8 km Capital Cross Challenge to help the Gaels finish first overall ... Finished the 8 km Bronco Invitational in 24:30.8 for the third-fastest Gael time and a season record for this distance ... Grabbed a 23rd finish at the 8 km West Coast Conference Championships in 26:13 for the second fastest Gael time ... Finished 50th at the 10 km NCAA West Regionals in 32:06.6 for the fastest Gael time and a season record for this distance.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Chance had a breakout Cross Country season where he would win the Sac-Joaquin boys D2 race by 24 seconds and then move on to the CIF state meet where he would notch a 10th place finish in the boys D2 race with a finish time of 15:20 for 5K.
