AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Appeared in 16 games while posting a record of 6-2 with six starts … Spent time in the starting rotation and was tied for first in wins on the team with Johnny York and Drew Strotman … Had the second-lowest ERA of 4.15 among starters and boasted the lowest walks total among starters with 10 … Posted 36 strikeouts and had a career-high eight at San Francisco in six innings pitched on April 7 … Threw seven innings while allowing just four hits and one earned run in win at CSUN on March 19 … Went 6 innings versus Pacific and allowed no earned runs on just four hits in 5-1 win on April 22

AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Made three appearances in his debut season playing two innings and finishing 1-0 … Threw a career high two strikeouts against Northwestern State on Mar. 5 … Didn’t allow any home runs during the season.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Three-time letterwinner and two-sport star at Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif. ... Pitched the Bears to a CIF Central Section Division I Championship in 2015, throwing a three-hit 15-1 win over Clovis West in the championship game ... Also pitched Buchanan to the outright Tri-River Athletic Conference title in 2015 with a two-hit shutout of Clovis North ... As a sophomore went 6-3 with a 1.75 ERA to earn first team All-TRAC honors in addition to second team All-Valley and team rookie of the year awards ... As a junior, finished 10-3 with a 0.95 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 66 innings pitcher. Named second team All-TRAC, first team All-Valley, team pitcher of the year and competed in the North/South All-Star game ... Also played quarterback for the Buchanan football team.
