AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Started 39 games for the Gaels at shortstop as a defensive stalwart up the middle … Had only five errors in 142 chances while being responsible for 19 double plays … Went 2 for 3 against conference rival Gonzaga with with an RBI in 7-3 win … played summer ball in alongside Austin Piscotty in the Rocky Mountain League for the Boulder Collegians.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Appeared in 50 games and started 35 as primarily a shortstop in his first season with the Gaels … Finished the year with 11 runs, 16 hits and eight RBIs … Earned his first doubles in back-to-back games against Portland on May 20 … Racked up 64 putouts leading to a fielding percentage of .931 … Tallied up seven walks during the season and finished the season with a .255 on-base percentage.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Two-sport star at Saint Francis High School in San Carlos, Calif., graduating in 2015 ... Named All-West Catholic Athletic League second team in 2015 and honorable mention in 2014 ... Hit .313 with 13 RBIs and three doubles as a senior ... Helped lead the Lancers to a California Interscholastic Federation Central Coast Open Division Championship in 2015, as well as a WCAL championship ... Team went 29-5 and 12-2 in 2015 in the ultra-competitive WCAL, earning a final national ranking of No. 9 and state ranking of No. 2 from ... Also earned a Saint Francis Gold Glove award as a junior, establishing himself as one of the area's top middle infield defenders ...
