Moraga, CA - In game two of the double-header the Saint Mary's baseball team was defeated 6-1 to the San Francisco Dons on Saturday, April 26 on Louis Guisto Field. With the win USF improves to 18-26/11-12 WCC, while the Gaels drop to 17-24-1/7-12-1 WCC.

San Francisco was led by starting pitcher Bryan Williams (5-3) who pitched his second complete game of the season, while allowing five hits. Gabe Palma (1-2) earned the loss for the Gaels after throwing his first career complete game, allowing four earned runs.

In the fourth inning the Gaels had a chance to score with the bases loaded but were unsuccessful. James Gaulke started the rally with a double to left field, ending any chance of a no-hitter.

USF's Joe Jacobitz connected on a two-out single in the top of the fifth inning with the bases loaded to give the Dons a 5-0 lead.

The Gaels tallied their first run in the seventh inning thanks to a USF error. Adam Bellows scored on the play after Delaney Gallagher hit a slow roller to first base, bringing the score to 5-1, USF.

Leading the way offensively for the Gaels was Gaulke, who went 1-for-2 with two walks in his first game since March 15.
