No. 15 Gaels Continue Road Trip at Portland

Saint Mary's will look to bounce back with a win at Portland Saturday night.

2008-09: Was one of two players to start every game for the Gaels...was second on the team in scoring (14.1 ppg) and rebounds (9.4 rpg)...was named First Team All-WCC after finishing 10th in the conference in scoring and third in rebounds...ranked 29th in the country in rebounds per game and 40th in the nation with 2.0 blocks per game...led the team and was third in the WCC with 69 blocked shots...his 69 blocks ranks as the third best single season total in school history...he currently ranks second in school history with 159 career blocked shots...went over the 1,000-point mark this season when he scored 17 points against Utah State on Feb. ranks 18th in scoring at Saint Mary's with 1,124 career points...was named WCC Player of the Week twice, on the week of Dec. 22 after averaging 16.0 points and 14.0 rebounds in wins over Oregon and Southern Illinois and for the week of Feb. 16 when he averaged 18.3 points and 11 rebounds in wins over San Diego and No. 23 Utah State...joined the Gaels' 500-rebound club after pulling down a career-high 16 boards against Southern Illinois (12/20/08)...topped the 600-rebound mark with 11 rebounds against San Diego on Jan. 22...became the ninth player in school history to grab 700 rebounds when he had 12 rebounds against Eastern Washington on Mar. has 738 career rebounds to rank sixth all-time at Saint Mary's...was been a force on the offensive glass, averaging a team-high 3.8 offensive rebounds per outing...scored in double-figures 28 times, including a career-high 29 points against Eastern Washington on Mar. 13...shot a team-best 55.8 percent from the field...had multiple blocks in a team-best 19 games...had 15 double-doubles, bringing his career total to 23...had 16 double-digit rebound games...had a season-high five blocks in the season opener against Seattle Pacific and matched that with five against San Diego State in the NIT Quarterfinal game...dished out a season-high four assists against CSU Bakersfield (1/2/09)...was 8-for-8 from the free throw line against Portland on Jan. 31.

2007-08: Garnered Honorable Mention All-WCC honors as a sophomore...started every game and has scored in double figures 18 times...finished third on the team in scoring (10.5 ppg) and second in rebounds (7.3 rpg)...posted five or more rebounds in 27 contests... shot 53.2 percent from the floor for the year...scored a career-high 25 points against Cal State Bakersfield, when he had career-highs with 11 made field goals and 15 attempts...had six double-doubles, bringing his career total to eight...had a career-high 16 rebounds against Seton Hall, while scoring 19 points against the Pirates...had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Drake along with a career best six blocks...averaged 23.5 minutes per game.

2006-07: Was named to the West Coast Conference All-Freshmen Team...played in all 32 games including seven starts...was the team's third highest scorer and second highest rebounder, averaged 9.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game...scored in double digits 14 times as a redshirt freshman...had two double-doubles...shot a team-best 53.2 percent from the floor...shot 75.6 percent from the free throw offensive performance came against Gonzaga on Jan. 15 when he scored 20 points, going 6-for-9 from the field and 8-for-9 from the line...on Jan. 20 against San Francisco, he recorded a double-double scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 this game he shot 9-for-14 from the field, and 1-for-3 from the line with three blocks...recorded another double-double against number eight-ranked Connecticut on Dec. 17 when he scored 13 points and had 10 boards...shot 5-of-10 from the floor, and was 3-for-5 from the free throw line against the Huskies...finished the year with 178 rebounds, 47 blocks, 13 assists, and five steals...set a Saint Mary's freshman record with 47 blocked shots...was fifth in the WCC in blocked shots with 1.47 blocks per game...helped SMC finish 21st in the country with 174 total team blocks, as he has 27 percent of the team's total blocks.

2005-06: Redshirted the season.

High School: Helped San Ramon Valley High School to a 26-4 record averaging 21.9 points, 13 rebounds and 4.2 blocks per game during the 2004-05 season. He was named Contra Costa Region Player of the Year and was a first team all-metro selection by the San Francisco Chronicle...was named the Most Valuable Player of the East Bay Athletic League...was a Cal-Hi Sports First Team All-State Division II selection...was named the Contra Costa Times Player of the Year...helped San Ramon Valley capture the North Coast Section Division II title before losing to the eventual state champion Oak Ridge HS in the NorCal Playoffs.
