Head Coach Randy Bennett

Q: Opening Statement...
Bennett: “I thought we played well. I didn’t think Emmett [Naar] was going to play until 15 minutes before the game. We are were up 25 points, we could have closed it a little better, but we were able to rest Jock [Landale] and Emmett [Naar], Tanner [Krebs] and Evan [Fitzner]. I was pleased.”

Q: Feedback on Emmett’s [Naar] injury...
Bennett: “It was between him and the trainer and ultimately it was up to Emmett [Naar] to play in tonight’s game. He said he felt pretty good while he was warming up. I was surprised when he said he wanted to get in the game. He was able to contribute and help especially with his confidence. I think Emmett will keep getting better. I thought it was an overall positive step for him to get healthy. Jordan [Ford] did a good job with running the team tonight.”

Forward Calvin Hermanson

Q: Thoughts on the 11-0 run that set the tone of the game…
Calvin: “We definitely came out with a lot of energy tonight, we came out ready to play. We were just ready to play from the get go. We had a slow couple of games so we were itching to get back on the court. Tonight you could tell right away, we were knocking down shots, moving the ball well, and playing well.”

Q: You guys had a two-game hiccup, how do you feel going into the tournament?
Calvin: “We are moving on right now, trying to get better, taking it one game at a time. We are worried about Santa Clara on Saturday, we still have that one to go before the conference tournament.”

Q: How did Jordan Ford’s game look out there?
Calvin: “It's tough to stop him when he's shooting like that. Pretty special when you have a guy like that on the team and he can really shoot it. He took a lot of pressure off of the rest of us.”

Guard Jordan Ford

Q: Thoughts on your first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds?
Jordan: “I came out and hit my first couple shots and from there it just kept rolling, so it felt pretty good. I put myself in the right position, and since guys hustled back on defense I was able to steal rebounds from the big guys.”

Q: Were all the 3-pointers a case of one guy catching fire and then the whole team catching fire?
Jordan: “Definitely. I think that our shooting was contagious. We work on it all the time so we expect each other to make shots, and when we are not making shots we keep shooting. We are all really confident in each other.”
