Watching the Record Book
With now 1,301 points, Naar sits 14th in all-time scoring. With 245 assists through 29 games, Naar has the most assists in program history (777), passing Dellavedova’s 5-year reign for most assists.
Calvin Hermanson has the third most three-pointers in program history with 233. Hermanson needs 8 more to pass David Sivulich for 2nd most (238).
Landale is now 5th all-time in field goals made (602). He has the 5th most rebounds in program history with 779. His 1,533 career points is 7th all-time.
Pepperdine announced on February 13 that Marty Wilson will not return next season
as head coach.
Colbey Ross has set Pepperdine’s freshman record for assists in a season and he’s
up to No. 10 on the Waves’ overall single-season list with 158. He is the top freshman
in the WCC in both scoring (14.5, seventh overall) and assists (5.6, second overall,
35th nationally). He’s coming off a 21-point effort at Gonzaga and is the only Wave
to start all 28 games.
Amadi Udenyi recently became just the fourth Wave in program history to record 400
career assists. Matthew Atewe is having the best stretch of his college career, as he’s averaging 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds over the last four games. He now ranks 10th in the WCC in rebounding (6.2).
