Oct. 30, 2017

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Saint Mary's sophomore forward Jake Rudel has been named the West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

The sophomore striker recorded a hat trick in the Gaels' 5-0 win against Loyola Marymount on the weekend. The hat trick was the program's first since 2006 and is just the third performed by a West Coast Conference men's soccer student-athlete this season.

Saint Mary's returns home this Saturday to host Pacific (11-3-0, 3-1-0 WCC) at 12 p.m. Tickets to attend Saint Mary's men's soccer matches are available for purchase. Tickets are available online here or by calling the SMC Athletic Ticket Office at (925) 631-GoTX (4689).
