MTEN | Gaels Claim Three More Wins at UCSB

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — On the second day of the UCSB Classic, Saint Mary’s men’s tennis gained three more wins on the court, as Nash Vollenweider and Matis Bot headlined the action with their doubles win in the consolation bracket Saturday.

The Gaels top doubles team, Vollenweider and Bot advanced to Sunday’s final match. Bot continued to have himself a strong day, as the second year player also clinched a quarterfinal win the Singles C Flight consolation bracket.

After going down in the first set, Bot came through with the come-from-behind victory, 2-6, 7-5, 6-2.
