SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Saint Mary's women's basketball senior guard Stella Beck was named West Coast Conference Player of the Week Monday for the week of Feb. 12-18 after tallying two 25-point games and averaging a double-double in the final two regular season home games of her career.

Beck logged her third double-double of the year versus rival San Francisco on Thursday, scoring a game-high 26 points and tying a season-high with 11 rebounds. She followed that up with a 25-point, nine-rebound performance versus Portland Saturday on Senior Day. The consecutive 20-point games marked her sixth and seventh such games this season and moved her into 15th all-time on the Saint Mary's career scoring list, passing Kate Gaze (2009-14).

For the week, Beck averaged 25.5 points and 10.0 rebounds while shooting 60.7 percent from the floor and 60.0 percent from 3-point range. She also totaled three assists, three steals and a block. The award was her second this season after also being named the WCC Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 15-21. Saint Mary's has won three of the last five WCC POTW awards with Beck's two honors and Megan McKay earning it last week.

Beck and the Gaels close out the regular season on the road this week at Pepperdine Thursday and Santa Clara Saturday. Fans can find live coverage links for all games on SMCGaels.com.
