Rowing's "A" Fours Boat Earns Muscle Milk SAOTW

The Saint Mary's "A" fours boat won the collegiate fours race Sunday at the Head of the Port.

MORAGA, Calif. -- A dynamic season debut Sunday for the Saint Mary's women's rowing team was powered by a sweep in the collegiate fours race, earning the Gaels' A boat the Muscle Milk Student-Athletes of the Week honor for the week of Oct. 9-15.

Saint Mary's finished 1-2-3 Sunday in the fours race at the Head of the Port in West Sacramento. The A boat led the charge with a program course record time of 19 minutes, 17.0 seconds. The A boat was comprised of Torie Dawson, Jennifer Faulkner, Emily Milbrath, Katrina Heffernan, and coxswain Emily Roque Reinosa.

The Gaels continue their fall season on Oct. 28 at the Head of the American in Gold River.
