WSOC | Gaels Have 10 Players Named WCC All-Academic

Saint Mary's had 10 players named to the all conference All-Academic teams on Wednesday.

AS A JUNIOR (2017): Made 17 starts for the Gaels and appeared in all 19 games … tied for third on team with points … scored her first collegiate goal in a 1-0 win over UC Davis … named as an Honorable Mention on the WCC All-Academic team … was third on the team with 19 shots … picked up assists against UC Riverside and Portland.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Appeared in 19 out of 20 games, including three starts ... played in 468 minutes over the season ... took four shots with one going on net ... played tough defensively with three total fouls.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Appeared in 17 matches with 591 minutes... finished the year with one assist, six shots and three shots on goal ... earned Bronze honors (g.p.a. of 3.00-3.49) on the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: A 2015 graduate of Tulare Western High School ... named Fresno Bee Second-Team, Tulare Advanced Register Second-Team and Co-Offensive Player of the Year ... set the EYL scoring record with 32 goals ... earned first team honors and Offensive Player of the Year, breaking her previous record with 38 goals as a sophomore ... played for the California Odyssey U17 team and earned a 2012 US Soccer National Championship ... selected to Principal's Honor Roll every semester concluded her youth career for the Mustang Mavericks, a ECNL side.
