Whisler enters her second season as the Volunteer Assistant for Saint Mary's women's soccer in 2017.

Whisler's duties with the Gaels will include equipment management, assisting with training, video responsibilities and video editing, assisting with campus tours, assisting with camps and travel planning.

Whisler comes to Saint Mary's from NCAA Division II member Academy of Art University where she served as an assistant coach. During her two seasons with the Urban Knights, Whisler helped guide the team to ever-improving records, including the program's second-best record in 2015 coupled with its best-ever conference start.

Before Academy of Art, Whisler founded the women's soccer program at Owens Community College in Perrysburg, Ohio, in 2011. She coached her way to a 42-12-5 record overall for the Express, who were ranked as high as 14th in the NJCAA poll and 10th in the NSCAA poll. She also coached her team to the NJCAA National Tournament in 2013 after a 17-2-2 season, and was named 2013 NJCAA Region XII Coach of the Year.

Whisler was a highly decorated player in the NAIA ranks at the University of Saint Francis (Fort Wayne, Ind.), graduating as a two-time All-American, two time Academic All-American, three-time first team all-conference selection, two-time first team all-region selection and a two-time team captain for the Cougars. She earned her bachelors in psychology in 2009.
