AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2016-17)

Beach: Started the season with Alexsa Parker at the three pair but moved up to close out the season with Mary Hernandez at the No. 3 spot ... Was able to go 11-9 with Hernandez though the pair was never truly able to find their rhythm ... Salmons finished the season 16-11 ... Grabbed major wins over the pairs of ranked schools such as Arizona State and Loyola Marymount ... Earned WCC All-Academic honorable mention.

Indoor: Battled an early injury to play in 19 matches (64 sets) for the Gaels ... Finished third on the team in both kills (136) and blocks (52) ... Recorded 3 multi kill games and tied her season-high of 13 kills twice against Loyola Marymount on Sep. 29 and Santa Clara on Oct. 22 ... Racked up a season-high and second highest on the team 7 blocks in a 3-set win against Santa Clara on Oct. 22 ... Recorded her lone ace of the season Against Sa Diego on Oct. 8 ... Finished the year with a .282 attacking percentage which was good for second highest on the team ... Named All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention after hitting a team-best .327 in 16 WCC matches ... Named to the 2016 West Coast Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team Honorable Mentions.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2015-16)

Beach: Teamed primarily with Madi Wilkerson at the No. 3 spot during the beach season and helped the Gaels to a runner-up finish at the WCC Championship and a ranking of #17 nationally in the final DIG Magazine poll ... Was named to the All-WCC Academic team during the indoor season, Honorable Mention for the beach season, and received Bronze Honors on the year-ending WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a GPA of 3.26.

Indoor: Backed up a strong rookie campaign that saw her named to the 2014 WCC All-Freshmen team by starting all 99 sets as a sophomore and leading the team with a .293 hitting percentage and finishing second on the team in blocks with 82 (.83/set) and third in kills with 239 (2.41/set) ... The .293 hitting percentage was 9th best in the conference ... Recorded at least 9 kills in 14 of the Gaels' 28 matches and reached double digits in 10 of those matches ... Put away a career-high 17 kills in the 5-set loss to St. John's on Sep. 5 ... Also tallied 16 kills in the season finale versus San Francisco on Nov.24 and 14 against Loyola Marymount in a 5-set loss on Oc. 29 and again in a 4-set loss to Gonzaga on November 19 ... Posted 12 kills on three occasions (Aug. 29 in 3-set victory at Cal State Fullerton, Oct.1 in 4-set victory at Pepperdine, and Nov. 21 in 4-set loss to Portland) ... Had a season-high 9 total blocks in 3-set victory over Fresno State on Sep. 4 ... Recorded 7 total blocks in the loss to St. John's and another 6 in the loss to Loyola Marymount on Oct. 29.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014-15)

Beach: Teamed with Dalas Dodd to close the season and earned wins over teams from UCLA, Pacific and Oregon ... Beat UCLA's top team of Kamila Tan and Zoe Nightingale with Dodd at the Aloha Invitational ... Was already having a strong season before moving to the top spot in the lineup, teaming with Mary Hernandez to win the 3/4 division title at the NorCal Invitational at Stanford ... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze list for carrying a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49.

Indoor: Emerged as one of the WCC's top players at the net, earning All-WCC Freshman team honors for a standout first season of play with the Gaels ... Ranked second on the team and seventh in the conference in blocks per set with 1.15, and also averaged 1.81 kills per set to finish fourth in that category ... Led the team in hitting percentage at .295 ... One of four Gaels to play in a team-high 107 sets ... Had a team-high eight blocks vs. No. 21 LMU ... Tied career highs with 12 kills and 10 blocks vs. Gonzaga ... Recorded 10 blocks again in wins over San Diego and Portland ... Played her second season in the sand for the Gaels and finished the year as one half of SMC's top pair.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): Did not play as a true freshman ... Named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze list for carrying a GPA between 3.49 and 3.0 ... joined Maegan Conroy, Madelyn Hutson and Nicole Powers in four-player incoming class ... Should add skill and athleticism to the Gaels' front line in 2014.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Product of Francis Parker High School in San Diego named first team all-state selection the last two years for California Interscholastic Federation Division IV schools and first team all-San Diego Division IV selection last three years ... Selected to the All Section (I-V) second team, and San Diego All-Star competition as a senior ... Two-time offensive player of the year at Francis Parker ... Starting member for last three years of the Wave Volleyball club that finished in the top 10 in nation in each of the last three years ... Selected to Prep Volleyball top 150 Senior Ace list ... Daughter of 1984 U.S. Olympic volleyball standout and gold medalist Steve Salmons.
