AS A JUNIOR (2017-18)

Named to the 2017 West Coast Conference All-Academic First Team ... Played in all 28 matches for the Gaels ... Was third on the team with 95 blocks, including four solos ... Was fourth on the team with 206 kills and a .206 hitting percentage ... Had a season-high 16 kills and six blocks at Gonzaga on Sept. 21 ... Also had six blocks to go with nine kills versus Pittsburgh on Aug. 26 in Seattle ... Had five matches with double-digit kills and six with at least five blocks.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)

Beach: Named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention ... In her second spring as a Gael, Calvin played in 26 matches with two different partners and finished the season 13-13 … Played with Mary Hernandez at the two (0-2) and three (2-5) pairs and found success with Alexsa Parker at the No. 4 spot going 11-6 … Finished with key victories over ranked teams such as Arizona State and Loyola Marymount.

Indoor: Named to the 2016 West Coast Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team with a GPA of 3.90 ... Tied with Mary Hernandez for a team-high 100 sets played as a sophomore for the Gaels … Recorded 233 kills on a .236 attack percentage with a season-high 17 kills coming against California on Sep. 17 … Racked up 63 blocks and only 8 blocking errors over the season with a season-high 6 blocks coming against San Diego on Nov. 3 … Recorded her first ace of the season against San Diego on Oct. 8.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)

Beach: Teamed with Emily Bible in the spring and started the season 11-2, primarily at the No. 4 spot ... Grabbed wins over ranked teams such as Stanford, California, and Pacific ... Received Gold Honors on the 2015-16 WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.89 GPA during her freshman year.

Indoor: Started every set for the Gaels in 2015 ... Finished with a team-high 92 total blocks and was second in aces (19) and hitting percentage (.214) ... Finished fifth on the team with 153 kills ... Was one of two West Coast Conference freshmen (F.O.Y. Tarah Wylie of Pepperdine) to finish in the top-10 in two statistical categories during WCC play — sixth in both blocking (1.12/set) and serving (.30 aces/set) ... Posted season highs in five-set loss versus St. John's with 18 kills, no errors and a .621 hitting percentage ... Also recorded 14 kills in three-set loss at USD (.385), 13 kills in four-set loss vs. Gonzaga (.393), and 11 kills in four-set win at Long Beach State (.435) ... Posted season-high 11 total blocks in five-set loss at Pacific and four aces in three-set loss at Portland ... Her 11 blocks vs. Pacific ranked third among all WCC players (SCU's Cunningham 17 and BYU's Howard 12) and most by any WCC freshman in 2015 ... In the spring, along with teammate Lindsey Knudsen, traveled to Colorado Springs to participate in the USA Volleyball National Team tryouts.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Native of Visalia, Calif. comes to Moraga after a phenomenal career at Central Valley Christian High ... Named NCSAA Large School Player of the Year, California All-State Division II by, Offensive Player of the Year by the Fresno Bee and Tulare County Player of the Year by the Visalia Times-Delta and Tulare Advance Register after a senior season in which she recorded 356 kills, hit .418 and led CVC to a 28-10 record ... As a senior, earned a spot on's Senior Aces 250 and the Under Armour All-America top 150 ... As a junior, hit .423 and recorded 342 kills to be named to the MaxPreps All-State team, NCSAA All-America first team and Tulare County Player of the Year ... In the summer of 2014, helped the Bakersfield Volleyball Club win gold in the 18-USA division at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships in Minnesota ... In addition to starring in volleyball, lettered twice in basketball and twice in swimming ... Daughter of Brent and Renee Calvin has three siblings (Cooper, Paige and Cade) ... Came to Saint Mary's undecided on her major but plans on continuing her volleyball career and/or pursuing a career in journalism.

What do you love most about Saint Mary's: That you are surrounded by such a supportive community but still challenged and pushed to improve. What do you love most about SMC Volleyball: How we are one extremely close-knit family. Favorite food or meal: Does coffee count? And, I just love breakfast food in general. Top 3 songs: Definitely the hardest question. One by U2, Skinny Love by Bon Iver and almost anything by John Mayer. Favorite books: Harry Potter, Mindset. Personal hobbies: Reading, adventuring, music, writing. Personal motto or favorite quote: "I would rather be ashes than dust." One thing everyone should do in their lifetime: Go to a foreign country and immerse yourself in their culture. Describe yourself in one word: Ambitious.
