AS A SENIOR (2016-17): Played in all but one match as Saint Mary's No. 1 seed this season...went 12-6 in doubles play including 11-4 when playing with Kareena Manji...was 4-2 in WCC doubles action...was honored with All-WCC Second Team Singles and Doubles recognition following the season...also named to the WCC All-Academic Team with a 3.89 GPA...won back-to-back singles contests versus UC Santa Barbara and Fresno State...reeled off three consecutive conference victories against USF, Santa Clara, and Gonzaga...succeeded in the WCC Tournament with a 6-2 doubles win over BYU...competed in and posted wins in each of the Gaels' five fall tournaments...advanced to the round of 16 in singles play during the ITA Regionals.
AS A JUNIOR (2015-16): At the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational, McCord advanced to the finals round in doubles with fellow Gael Jamie Pawid … also posted a decisive 6-0, 6-0 win over Cal's Stephanie Lin in the opening round of singles play … played primarily as Saint Mary's top singles player and top doubles partner … biggest win of the season came against No. 13 regionally ranked Tami Nguyen of San Diego State in a 6-4, 7-6 victory … went 3-3 against WCC opponents … ended the season with wins in singles and doubles against BYU.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Made her SMC debut at the Cal Nike Invitational and wasted no time in collecting a little hardware as she teamed with Parminder Kaur to win the ITA Gold division doubles title in Berkeley ... won a super tie-breaker over BYU's Meghan Sheehan-Dizon and Morgan Littlewood, then won another super tie-breaker over Fresno State's Rana Sherif Ahmed and Tanya Murtagh to reach the final where they earned a walkover win over BYU's Savannah Ware and Nicolette Tran ... won her first two singles matches as well as a doubles match at the ITA Northwest Regional at Stanford ... stepped into her first spring season as a Gael and made an immediate impact, earning All-West Coast Conference honorable mention in singles and second team All-WCC in doubles with partner Parminder Kaur ... played the No. 2 spot in singles for the Gaels and finished the spring with a 10-12 overall record and 4-4 mark in WCC play ... won her lone match at No. 1, beating San Diego's Marta Stojanovic in three sets and earned her first WCC Player of the Week award for the victory ... won twice against ranked opponents, beating No. 47 Sophie Watts of Fresno State and No. 104 Madison Westby of USC ... spent just over a month in the national rankings, peaking at No. 99 ... also picked up a key singles win in SMC's 6-1 win over No. 18 Pepperdine, beating Laura Gulbe in three sets ... made a huge mark on the doubles court, finding a quick rapport with Parminder Kaur and rolling to a 14-9 overall record and 6-2 record in conference play ... an 8-2 win over No. 15 Giuliana Olmos and Zoe Scandalis and near-win against UCLA's Catherine Harrison propelled McCord and Kaur into the national rankings at the beginning of March and they stayed there the rest of the season, topping out at No. 44 ... a win over Pepperdine's Lorraine Guillermo and Apichaya Runglerdkriangkrai, combined with a win over LMU's Lisa Piller and Ellie Grossman, earned McCord and Kaur WCC Player of the Week honors on April 21 ... named to WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Gold list for maintaining a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: Joined the Gaels as a sophomore transfer after playing one year at Texas A&M ... San Diego, Calif. native returned to her home state after going 9-11 in singles while primarily playing the No. 6 spot in the lineup as a freshman with the Aggies ... standing 5-foot-10, McCord arrived in College Station with a lengthy resume, earning a blue-chip, five-star rating and ranking as high as No. 17 in the nation from TennisRecruiting.net after going 27-0 as a senior at Rancho Bernardo High School.
