Jan. 14, 2018

BERKELEY, Calif. — Senior Vanessa Nommensen remained perfect in singles action, and Saint Mary’s women’s tennis claimed four more victories on the final day of the Cal Winter Invite on Sunday.
Facing a tough powerhouse in Cal, Nommensen and fellow senior Emma Critser displayed impressive results, defeating their opponents in straight sets.

The Gaels dominated in doubles performances as both winning teams blew past the Cal Poly doubles teams. Freshman Mariia Kozyreva and Nommensen gave SMC the other doubles win after powering past the opposition, 6-1.
